Marvel Superheroes at Paizo

I don't know why, or for how long, but you can purchase lots of MSH RPG modules at Paizo right now for about $6 to $9 a pop. I don't know if this is new or not.
Could this presage other TSR materials coming back to the market?

  1. Paizo bought out a defunct game store (American Eagle or something like that). There is a thread about it on the Acaeum. They posted some Mayfair items at fairly high prices considering what these go for on ebay. Marvel Super Heroes modules have been dogs for quite a long time. Maybe that's changed but most of them would have a hard time selling last year at .99c each on ebay. Again, maybe times have changed and paizo attracts a different crowd than the regular ebay shopper.

  2. It's leftover product from a shop closure, it seems:

"This section of the store will be a repository for what I think might be one of the coolest collections of old gaming product I've had the pleasure to buy. We bought all of this stuff from American Eagles, a Seattle landmark in the gaming community and a former regional distributor, whose owners decided to retire."

  3. I saw this and thought about snatching up a few of them. There is some 2e AD&D stuff in the American Eagle section too. I'm thinking about grabbing some of that.

  4. Marvel Superheroes was a fun game! My gaming group in High School ran a lengthy campaign in the Marvel universe. I really liked the game mechanics as well. I should dust off my old books and run another game.

  5. Why pay for the print when you can get the PDFs for free?
