I guess I'll have to get busy. Still - no HPL or CAS, and I have another couple Dunsanys that aren't on the list.
No HPL or CAS!
ReplyDeleteStep out of the internet, sir. I'm afraid we're going to have to take you downtown. ;)
You misunderstand - I love HPL and CAS and have read many of their works (if not most), but they don't appear on that list. I agree with you - without those two, just how valid is that list?
ReplyDeleteThis seems to be the origin of the shenanigans: http://sffmasterworks.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteEmperor of Dreams is CAS, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteGood call - apparently I need to brush up on my phonics.
ReplyDeleteNice list. I like that Fever Dream and Replay are on it. Two underappreciated books but two of my absolute favorites. Fever Dream is, IMO, probably the most perfect novel ever written. One book containing all of the story that one ever needs and nothing more. Would love to see a GOOD movie or miniseries adaptation.
